CereCore Inc. dba CereCore Institute (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates http://www.cerecore.com (“the Site”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the Site.

We may use your Personal Data to contact you by email or telephone regarding inquiries and submissions you make on the Site’s Contact Form. We may use your Personal Data to manage the submission of photos, videos, images or written content you provide through the Contact Form for consideration of posting on the Site. We do not sell your Personal Data.

 

Retention of Data

Log Data and Usage Data. We will retain Log Data and Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or improve the functionality of the Site or we are legally obligated to retain it for longer periods of time.

Personal Data. We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Disclosure of Your Personal Data

User-Generated Submissions. If we post (with your permission) your user-generated content (e.g., original articles, photos, images, videos) (“User Submissions”) obtained by your submission through the Contact Form on the Site’s Contact Us page, we may disclose your first and last name on the Site as the creator of the User Submission.

Business Transactions. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Disclosure for Law Enforcement. Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

 

Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate the Site (“Service Providers”), to provide the Site on our behalf, to perform Site-related services or to assist us in analyzing how the Site is used.

You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Site available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

The Site may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

 

User-Generated Submissions

We offer you the ability to submit content for consideration for posting to the Site that other users of the Site can read/view (e.g., articles, photos, images, videos) (“User Submissions”). Anyone can read, collect and use any Personal Data that accompanies your posted User Submissions. See our Terms of Use for more information.

We do not have to publish any of your User Submissions. We will obtain your permission prior to posting your Submissions on the Site. If the law requires us to take down, remove or edit Personal Data, we will comply to the required extent.

 

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Rights

Under this Privacy Policy, and by law if you are a resident of California, You have the following rights:

  • The right to notice. You must be properly notified which categories of Personal Data are being collected and the purposes for which the Personal Data is being used.
  • The right to access/the right to request. The CCPA permits you to request and obtain from us information regarding the disclosure of your Personal Data that has been collected in the past 12 months by us for the third party’s direct marketing purposes.

    • The specific pieces of Personal Data we collected about you.
  • The right to delete Personal Data. You also have the right to request the deletion of your Personal Data that have been collected in the past 12 months.

We will disclose and deliver the required information free of charge within 45 days of receiving your verifiable request. The time period to provide the required information may be extended once by an additional 45 days when reasonable necessary and with prior notice.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information. We do not sell personal information.

Do Not Track Disclosure Required by California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

Do Not Track (DNT) is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. Please be aware that we do not respond to or honor DNT signals or similar mechanisms transmitted by web browsers.

Some third party websites, however, do keep track of your browsing activities. If you visit such websites, you can set your preferences in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable DNT by visiting the preferences or settings page of your webbrowser.

 

Guidelines for Children

The Site is intended for general purposes and is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information (as defined by the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act or COPPA) in a manner not permitted by COPPA. In particular, the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, and data portability of the Personal Data we hold about you. Upon request, we will grant you reasonable access to your Personal Data. In addition, we will take reasonable steps to permit you to correct, amend, delete, restrict processing of, and request portability of the Personal Data we hold about you. Legal Basis for Proceedings Under GDPR

We process and transfer some of your personal information under GDPR on the basis of your consent as described in this Privacy Policy. In addition, in certain circumstances, we process your Personal Data because it is necessary to enter into and perform a contract between us and you. Finally, we may also process your Personal Data based on our legitimate interests to market the Site.

Where Personal Data is processed based on consent, EU residents have the right to withdraw such consent at any time.
